The National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) seeks to recognise and reward NHS consultants and academic GPs who perform over and above the standard expected of their role.
The Advisory Committee for the Clinical Impact Awards (ACCIA) has announced that the 2025 round will open for applications on 1 April and close on 27 May.
Changes to the awards process
The ACCIA has made further changes for this year’s round relating to employer sign-off and award payments. Employers will no longer have to write citations for each applicant, and new award payments will no longer be backdated for the first year.
