Person-centred care is defined as coordinated, personalised care to achieve the health outcomes that allow a person to conduct their chosen lifestyle. This requires a whole-person approach to treatment and care, in addition to clinicians’ sharing of power and responsibility with the patient.


Within this position paper ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï aims to outline the role healthcare professionals can play in relation to person-centred care, and outlines recommendations to facilitate this.
